Overview

In factories or poor sites, noise or surges generated from outside and incoming along the communication lines frequently cause communication errors, and this continuous electrical shock poses the risk of damaging expensive equipment and facilities.
BASO-1010D2/ISO on the System Base is a product that provides high performance and reliability to maintain and utilize facilities and equipment by reducing failures or breakdowns through the built in protection against noise and surge incoming along the RS232 line.

Without External Power

All electrical and electronic products are powered by power, but the BASO-1010D2/ISO of System Base provides specialized port power functions and low-power design to generate and operate power through the RS232 signal line. DB9 pin no.9 can be used for power supply.

Digital Isolation

CMOS digital isolations provides small size and superior reliability than the existing opto isolations through the high isolation performance and small power consumption. Through this function, the input and output signals are electrically insulated to protect the main body from external noise or environments where strong electrical shock occurs due to external motor or actuator operation. When communicating with expensive equipment, isolating function is required to protect it at a low cost, and the BASSO-1010D2/ISO, which adopts the function, provides a longer life span and stability than the existing methods.
