Overview
CS-428i V2.0 is an industrial class isolation converter that provides the ability to convert RS232 signals to RS422 or RS485 signals. 5kV Digital isolator for overcurrent protection, such as GDT (Gas Discharge Tube) and Fuse with typical ESD, EFT, and Surge protection, but when the overcurrent is removed, reusable PPTC (Polymetal Positive Temperature Coefficient) provides complete external shock protection. It’s also a high-performance converter with more than 30 years of industrial hot humidity and system-based experience that provides innovative flexibility in connecting to each device connected to the communication line with self-diagnosis and ID registration, turn on and off.

CS-428i V2.0, an industrial-grade serial converter, offers excellent protection against noise and surges commonly encountered in industrial environments. It meets KC and IEC standards such as 61000-4.2, 61000-4.3, and 61000-4.4, providing protection capabilities up to 15kV ESD Level 4 on its communication ports. With the application of a ±5KV high-grade digital isolator, it prevents costly equipment damage caused by external electrical shocks.
